The AP2181DM8G-13 is a low quiescent current Integrated Power Distribution Switch, Load Driver with the flexible 3 to 8 channels configuration design, the over-voltage, over-current, and thermal protection and the internal adjustable accurate current sensing function. It is a perfect solution for space-constraint midsize power applications, like providing power distribution to multiple workloads efficiently, reducing heat and dissipating power.

AP2181DM8G-13 covers eight channels output configurations and two channels HF/LF compatible mode (these two channels can work together), working with a input voltages of 8.0V to 16V. It can support up to 9A continuous current consumption, up to 40A output capability, and up to 150mA typical quiescent current consumption, with a 160μsec current sampling time and fan speed control resolutions of 0.5℃/1KHz.

AP2181DM8G-13 provides over-voltage protection, overcurrent protection and thermal protection, which is an I2C compatible monitor update and monitoring system, with all of its features, enables for the safe and regulated operation of a wide variety of power management systems. The temperature protection, over-current protection, and over-voltage protection threshold can be programmed with the I2C interface and the safety functions will shut down power as soon as one of these thresholds is reached.
