It is a part of a broad family of voltage regulators, switch controllers and integrated power management solutions for high-power applications in the industrial and mobility markets.The AP2815AMMTR-G1 is designed to reduce bill of material (BOM) cost and board space by integrating five power MOSFETs, two power MOSFET drivers, and various other components in a small 8mm x 8mm TQFN package. It integrates four buck PD switches (3x3V,1x1.8V), a P-Channel MOSFET with integrated charge pump, two enable inputs and a reset input. The enable inputs allow the AP2815AMMTR-G1 to automatically enable or disable the load when required. The reset input controls the internal state machine.The AP2815AMMTR-G1 is an intelligent power management switch that offers system level control of power distribution, load control and protection features. It seamlessly integrates a comprehensive multi-rail protection and control architecture, with built-in system level monitoring and closed loop regulation, to minimize power dissipation in the system. This allows for greater accuracy in power distribution and greater flexibility to optimize for system efficiency.The main features of the AP2815AMMTR-G1 include integrated power MOSFET drivers, protection switches, Buck PD and P-Channel MOSFETs, Power On Reset (POR) and Fault Protection, Supply Select Mechanism, Load Enable/Disable Control and Modular Interface. The internal power MOSFET drivers are designed to deliver up to 1.5A to the load and can be configured to operate over a wide range of input voltages. The device also integrates two-level power rail switching capability, enabling it to support multiple load environments.The AP2815AMMTR-G1 operates by providing a regulated voltage to the load when the Power On Reset (POR) and Fault Protection signals indicate that the system is safe to power-up the load. The device can easily be configured to switch between two voltage levels, based on the value of the supplied voltage, and provide the optimal level of power to the load. The modular interface enables seamless system integration and compatible with I2C, SPI and other control interfaces for Power Management ICs.The AP2815AMMTR-G1 is a highly integrated power distribution switch, load driver, and protection device designed to enhance system performance, reduce BOM cost and board space, and provide customers with reliable, flexible and easy to use solutions for their applications.
