AP2820FM-G1

The AP2820FM-G1 is a power distribution switch, load driver, and set of current and voltage detectors designed for power management and circuit protection applications. This power management integrated circuit (PMIC) integrates high-efficiency, low-impedance switch transistors, low power adjustable and fixed current sources, a power distribution switch, and voltage and current monitoring circuits into a single chip.

The AP2820FM-G1 is a cost-effective power management solution for systems requiring reliable power distribution and load driving capabilities. Its power management capabilities include a voltage and current monitor, circuit protection and fault detection logic, over-temperature protection, reset logic, and power gating control. The AP2820FM-G1 includes a dual location power distribution switch that operates from a 5V or 3.3V source with up to 6A of output current. The power distribution switch features a low-power adjustable and fixed current source, voltage and current detector and fault detection logic, over-temperature protection, and reset logic. The device provides low-impedance, high-efficiency switch transistors with integrated thermal protection and power gating control.
