The AP9211S-AL-HAC-7 battery management system is an integrated power management IC (PMIC) comprising of a battery cell protection and charge and discharge controller, switchgear, and voltage regulator. This PMIC provides integrated low on-resistance switches, low dropout (LDO) regulators, and a set of analog peripherals for battery cell protection and control. It features current limiting and automatic compensation for temperature variation, enabling reliable battery protection and control in a compact footprint. The two battery-feedback switches are used to control the signal level when power is supplied to the IC. The panic switch is used to signal a high-current shutdown, when needed.
