An insulated trigger pin eliminates shock hazard due to accidental energizing of the breaker. This ensures safety for anyone working around the breaker who might come in contact with the pin. Additionally, the adjustable overshoot adjustment dial allows the user to easily adjust the overshoot setting so that the breaker can be set to trip at any desired level.The arc current is the primary factor that determines the efficiency, response time, and reach of the APL111-1527-1 Circuit Breaker. The arc current path is determined by the contact gap between the main contacts, the wire size, the incoming voltage, and the arc control device. The ARC511-15BC is specifically designed to be used with this particular breaker, ensuring that the circuit breaker will have optimum performance. The ARC511-15BC is designed to interrupt arc current at a desired peak. It also includes overvoltage blockade, which prevents overshoot during the initial arc interruption. The internal components of the APL111-1527-1 Circuit Breaker are carefully designed to allow maximum heat dissipation during operation.
