High Frequency (RF) Relays are devices which function as an electrical switch. They are used to control the flow of electrical energy in high frequency and/or high voltage applications. The ARN10A12 relay is a solid state, single-pole, normally-open relay designed for RF applications. It has a maximum switching power of 25 watts and a frequency range of up to 10 MHz.

The ARN10A12 uses an optoelectronic design which includes a semiconductor light-emitting diode (LED) and a phototransistor. When a control signal is applied to the LED, current passes through it, and the LED emits light.
