AS1359-BTTT-31 is a low-power linear voltage regulator module from AS Power. It has a maximum output current of up to 1A. This regulation is used to convert the input voltage to the desired output voltage by actively varying the resistance of the MOSFET device.The module uses dynamic MOSFET shunt regulation to provide low voltage output and high efficiency. The module detects and regulates the output voltage by actively varying the height of the MOSFET channel, depending on the difference of the input voltage and output voltage.When the output voltage increases, the MOSFET affects the input voltage to cause the current to decrease and reduce the output voltage. When the output voltage drop, the MOSFET acts to reduce its resistance and increase the current, thus increasing the output voltage.As driven by the gate voltage, the MOSFETs will open, close and/or resist current flow according to the output voltage and the difference between the input voltage and the output voltage.
