The AS3709 evaluation board is designed to provide a practical and easy-to-use solution for the evaluation of power modules. The board is comprised of an on-board controller capable of regulating current, a current isolation technology featuring an AC/DC to DC/DC converter, and four most commonly used SMPS topologies, all of which can be connected to the board.

The evaluation board operates on a two-phase current-mode control scheme to maintain stable output voltage and current by adjusting the pulse width modulation (PWM) signal. The adjustment is programmed through the board’s on-board non-volatile memory. The board also offers high efficiency and low EMI/RFI, due to its special design and component selection.

The evaluation board is capable of a wide range of outputs. It can provide up to 2000 watt output and is certified for up to 2kHz switching frequency. It is also designed to support a wide input voltage range of 90VAC to 600VAC, giving it the versatility to meet the needs of different applications.
