Terminal Blocks - Din Rail, Channel has been widely used in the industrial applications requiring reliable electrical connections in profession. ASMA41F is one of Terminal Block Series which is of Plug-in type and is ideal for use in multiple power, signal, control and thermal measurement applications. It can accept 22-14AWG and 22-10AWG insulated cable for power, signal, control, and is designed with 5.08mm pitch in contacts to provide high current carrying capacities and efficient signal connection.

This Terminal Block consists of two parts which are snap-on top and base. It has multiple pin sizes including 2.5mm, 4mm, 6.2mm, 6.3mm and 12.5mm. Its contact terminals are manufactured from copper containing AgNi and are precious plated. So it can offer superior contact performance even when subjected to the most demanding electrical connections over a wide range of temperatures. And it also provides fast, safe, solid termination of an unlimited number of conductor combinations.

The ASMA41F uses high-integrity insulation to avoid electrical shorts amongst connecting points, providing superior mechanical strength and stable connections under the most extreme operational conditions. Its insulation base plastic offers superior resistance to oil, solvents and harsh environments, and includes reinforced ribbing molded into the base block, which create a high level of stability between joined connections.

Furthermore, this Terminal Block series also uses multiple anti-vibration features including foam inserts built into the contact area to absorb vibration and special ribbing designs to ensure a secure connection in all instances. Additionally, arc protection and finger protection systems are both included. The arc protection system prevents generated arcs from potential circuits, while the finger protection provides safe and efficient fingertip access.

In terms of the working principle, when the ASMA41F plug-in type terminal block is used for a connection, one simply needs to open the base of the terminal block and strip the required cables. The cables can then be placed into the open base and secured by the interlocking mechanism above the cable. The cable is then firmly held in place with a spring-loaded snap-on top which requires a strong force to remove it. After all the cables have been secured, the top base of the terminal block is then closed and locked down.
