Programmable oscillators are devices that generate electrical signals of a particular frequency. The frequency of these signals can be adjusted by varying the frequency parameters. With the advances in technology, the available programmable oscillators have become more sophisticated and capable of controlling the frequency over a wider range. Among the various programmable oscillators, the ASSVP-D03 is a novel technology that has been able to provide greater flexibility in controlling frequencies. In this article, we will discuss the application fields and working principle of this oscillator.

Application Fields

The ASSVP-D03 can be used for applications such as phase shifting, synchronous and asynchronous divider/multiplier, clock distribution, phase alignment and synchronization, microwave frequency synthesis and other fields. Working Principle

The ASSVP-D03 is based on a Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) architecture. It uses a differential reference input to regulate the frequency output. Its PLL also uses a charge-pump and low pass filter, which is then connected to a Voltage Control Oscillator (VCO). This VCO is used to generate the output signals. The main components of the ASSVP-D03 are the PLL, the frequency synthesizer, a digital-to-analog conversion, and the VCO.
