< p>AT17F16-30BJI is a Configuration Proms for FPGAs. It is a low-cost, one-time programmable non-volatile programmable logic device (PLD) that is permanently stored into the device in different ways depending on the number of configurations and types of FPGAs used. The AT17F16-30BJI is a 5-volt register-programmable logic device (RPLD) with a lead thickness of 0.4mm. The AT17F16-30BJI is a Configuration Proms, designed to configure FPGAs quickly and reliably. The device is designed to store configuration data for the FPGAs and logic devices and programming the FPGAs for operation. The configuration codes of the AT17F16-30BJI are written into memory at a single operation and verified immediately after programming to ensure that the configuration codes are properly programmed into the device. Configuration codes stored in AT17F16-30BJI can be read-out to the FPGAs through the available serial data bus protocol later. The AT17F16-30BJI is powered by a 5 volt single supply and conforms to the latest industry-standard protocols. It offers a wide range of features, such as high-speed programming, built-in error detection and correction features, low-power standby mode, simple programming techniques, and advanced programming techniques. AT17F16-30BJI also implements static-MMED algorithms for fast and reliable programming operation, which makes reprogramming possible without the need for any additional software or hardware support. The AT17F16-30BJI’s application field and working principle can be divided into two main parts:1. Application Field:The AT17F16-30BJI can be used in various fields, such as custom logic, memory/peripheral module controllers and memory card expansions. On a higher level it is used to configure FPGAs, such as Altera Cyclone, Xilinx Spartan and more, for the purpose of wireless-wired communication, biometric equipment, industrial automation, aerospace and defense applications, video broadcasting and display and other industrial applications.2. Working Principle:The AT17F16-30BJI Configuration Proms utilizes an architecture with multiplexed I/O and an embedded intelligence to ensure high-speed programming. The device is supported by a high-speed, low-voltage external serial interface, which is used to write configuration codes into the device. The same external serial interface allows for programming the FPGA with the stored configuration codes. The embedded intelligence provides fast, reliable operation through built-in error detection and correction features. In order to program a device, a binary code is loaded into the AT17F16-30BJI through the serial interface protocol. The provided serial interface protocol allows up to four devices in daisy chain, making it possible to configure up to sixteen devices simultaneously. The loaded code is verified and a program verification is done to verify whether the code is successfully programmed or not. The successful programming of FPGAs is done through the same external serial interface.The AT17F16-30BJI Configuration Proms also provides embedded control logic that helps to ensure fast, reliable operation. The control logic is designed to provide system-level monitoring and fault-recovery capability. It can also be configured to automatically reprogram the device, which makes it reliable for long-term operation. Overall, the AT17F16-30BJI is a low-cost, reliable and fast way to configure FPGAs.
