AT17LV128-10NC is a configuration prom unit designed to utilize flash memory technology to program FPGAs. It is commonly used in applications ranging from automotive, telecommunications, aerospace and industrial markets requiring fast and reliable FPGA configuration. This unit features a 256 Kb CFI compliant Flash memory, an enhanced serial configuration scheme, and advanced wear-leveling algorithms to provide maximum configuration cycles and data retention capabilities.The AT17LV128-10NC is designed to operate with Xilinx Spartan-3, Spartan-3E and Xilinx Spartan-6 FPGAs. This unit is a cost-effective, low power programmable device that is capable of forming a complete FPGA configuration solution for large or small FPGAs. With a write endurance of 10,000,000 writes per sector, the AT17LV128-10NC offers a lifetime of operation, without the need for refresh or power cycling.The unit is programmed with Xilinx ISE and iMPACT software, and includes programming support for all of the flavors of Spartan-3 and Spartan-6 FPGAs. This means that all of the FPGAs supported by the AT17LV128-10NC have their own design software to support their programming. The unit also supports multiple programming speeds, including high data rates. The AT17LV128-10NC utilizes an enhanced serial configuration scheme and is capable of transmitting data over a variety of connection media. The unit is designed to be configured via SPI, MacUSB, and JTAG interfaces, making it a versatile device for a wide variety of applications.
