Additionally, secure key storage and secure read/write functions support data protection and secure audit trail for compliance to ISO/IEC 27036, FIP 140-2, SEC 11 C6, NIST 800-171 and other security regulations.
The AT25XE021A-XMHN-T also supports secure programming and secure erase functions, allowing for programming and erasing of secure data without requiring disconnection from the host device. It enables applications to integrate secure memory in a wide range of applications without compromising on security.
The AT25XE021A-XMHN-T is based on a secure memory architecture that consists of an internal secure memory array, encryption and authentication hardware acceleration, hardware support for secure communication protocols, secure programming / erase, secure key storage, and multiple layers of security and protection. The secure memory array contains up to 56-bit of unique device or product specific serial number (ENVs) as well as device and product security settings. The internal secure memory array also contains secure boot data that is used to help protect against unauthorized access.
The AT25XE021A-XMHN-T also supports a range of secure programming protocols, including AES and DES, as well as secure key storage and secure read/write functions. With support for a range of encryption algorithms, it provides secure data access and secure data transfer for mission-critical applications.
