Working principle
AT28C64E-20JI\'s working principle consists of three stages, the erase, write and read stages. During the erase stage, electrons that were previously stored in the device are removed, which clears the bits and prepares them for new programming. During the write stage, the desired new data is written to the memory cells. During the read stage, the desired data is retrieved from the memory cells.
AT28C64E-20JI features a low-voltage write operation which allows the device to operate from a wide supply voltage range. It has an array of EEPROM cells arranged in 8192 words of 8 bits each. Each cell is programmed and erased electrically, with no mechanical effects.
