This equivalent capacitance is used as a reference for determining the most sensitive area on the controller. The system then moves to the PH mode and calibrates the mapped capacitance values to the environment.
In the PH mode, the system is able to accurately identify areas of higher and lower sensitivity. This enables the controller to identify different touch points and react accordingly, making it ideal for use in applications such as displays and keyboards. This mode also reduces ambient output power and enhances signal-to-noise ratios, thus improving signal integrity.
