AT88SC0404C-SU

AT88SC0404C-SU is a low voltage, low-cost, serial-accessmemory chip, which is a member of the "Crypto Memory" family ofmemory cores from Atmel Corporation and organized as 16 pages,each page composed of 32 words. This memory core is designedprimarily for a wide range of encrypted memory applications anduses fast on-chip encryption to reduce system designrequirements. The AT88SC0404C-SU also applies advanced securityfeatures and on-chip authentication (Anti-Fakebit) to ensureauthenticity of the chip.

Working Principle

The AT88SC0404C-SU is organized as 16 pages, each composedof 32 words. Each page is 128 bits wide, with the first wordcontaining the page address. Operations include read/write, EPROM erase,register/EEPROM write and control/status register functions.These operations are carried out with commands, depending onthe operation to be performed. After receiving the commands,the AT88SC0404C-SU will complete the requested operation.
