The system is based on the Microchip PIC10F226 microcontroller, which contains 14 programmable ports and 5 internal peripherals, including I/O and both synchronous and asynchronous serial interfaces. The microcontroller is paired with an Altera MAX 10 FPGA, which is a low-cost and low-power programmable logic device with 1,024 logic elements and on-chip memory.The combination of the microcontroller and FPGA on the AT94K10AL-25DQC allows users to combine their design with their application, increasing flexibility and providing a cost-effective solution for many different embedded applications.
