Evaluation and Demonstration Boards and Kits

An Evaluation and Demonstration board, preferably referred to as the ATAFERO-MOD2-XPRO, is used by engineers in both research and development for experimenting with high-frequency, multi-channel data acquisition and audio/data systems. This board is the perfect tool for both quick system evaluation and thorough prototype development.

The ATAFERO-MOD2-XPRO board makes use of a high-speed Xilinx Virtex-6 FPGA digital signal processor that supports high-speed, high-precision signal operation modes employed in stereo or multichannel audio/data systems. It also contains 8 output channels and 8 input channels, allowing for data acquisition and analysis up to 1GHz. Additionally, the board also supports multi-band equalization, volume control, and variable delays or time alignment.

The board is capable of monitoring the magnitude and phase of signals as well as controlling them. It also has an adjustable and selectable low-pass filter, which is used to filter out unwanted signals. The maximum input frequency is 2GHz, allowing for very precise data acquisition. The ATAFERO-MOD2-XPRO board\'s working principle is based on the fact that it: collects, stores, and processes digital signals; process analog signals using digital-signal-processing techniques; and, can communicate with and control external hardware devices, such as motors and solenoids. As an example, the board can be used to create and analyze oscilloscope-like signals, enabling the user to measure and visualize waveforms. The board can also be used to remotely control the speed and calibration of multiple devices connected to it, such as a robot arm.
