ATFL4 Application Field and Working Principle

The ATFL4 series is a terminal block line specifically designed for the automotive market and for applications requiring a high level of noise immunity, safety, and stability. The ATFL4 range is certified in accordance with UL1977/CSA C22.2 No. 14 and is characterized for its operating specifications, including an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, a screw torque of 2.5 Nm, and easy connection of AWG16-12 wires. The terminal also meets Volkswagen TL82460/2 standards.

The ATFL4 terminal block is suitable for a wide range of automotive applications including power distribution, connecting switches, relays and sensors, and managing for a variety of components such as monitors, batteries,and other electronic settings and sensors. It is a din-rail mountable model which comes with three different connection systems: screw/spring, screw/spring/slide, and wire insertion with insulation displacement. The wide range of wires, from AWG20-12, are fixed to the terminal block through several connection systems, such as screw/spring. Its contact surfaces are designed for a reliable, top quality connection while the spring-down connections make sure the tight connections are reliable and fixed.

The ATFL4 terminal block allows for an easy connection of wires due to its two-pole setup, which offers numerous advantages, such as time savings and reduction in the amount of complexity for wiring the connection.
