Atmel Corporation releases a wide range of RF transceiver ICs designed for embedded applications. Among them is the ATMEGA128RFR2-ZUR, an advanced IC with superior radio reception and transmit performance. With its increased operating temperature range and greater RF robustness, this IC is ideal for applications that need reliable and robust wireless communication links like in audio, audio control, real time location and tracking, and asset management systems.

The ATMEGA128RFR2-ZUR provides air protocol support for Zigbee®, Home Automation, Thread and Open/IPM mesh networks. It also supports various consumer products for wireless home automation, remote control and sensor applications.

This device is designed to operate in a band of 868/915 MHz ISM frequencies.
