The ATPL100DK-99 is one such comprehensive board and kit that offers a variety of application fields and working principles to explore.The ATPL100DK-99 kit is designed for WIFI applications such as ZigBee, Cellular, and P2P mesh networks. It supports multiple protocols such as Bluetooth, 802.11, ZigBee and Near Field Communication. All the devices in the kit are equipped with an Atmel ATmega128 microcontroller. This powerful processor is capable of taking advantage of the ATPL100DK-99’s wide array of peripherals to allow device connection and communication with other devices.The ATPL100DK-99 can be used to test Zigbee mesh network configurations, evaluate the performance of communication protocols such as Bluetooth, and develop applications for wireless sensor networks. The board includes a debugger module that can be used to diagnose issues or fine tune RF signal strength.Besides the board, the ATPL100DK-99 kit includes a number of additional components necessary to construct a prototype. All the development tools consist of a programmer module, a user interface module, and a microcontroller development board with all the necessary hardware components. These devices can be connected to a PC for programming and testing.In addition to the board and the development tools, the ATPL100DK-99 kit also contains two wireless transceiver modules that facilitate communication between the Atmel processor and other wireless devices. The transceiver modules support both the IEEE 802.15.4 and ZigBee protocols, as well as Nokia’s Near Field Communication (NFC) standard.When used in conjunction with the Atmel microcontroller, the ATPL100DK-99 board and kit open up numerous application fields and working principles. The host processor is responsible for processing incoming commands and signals, and it can be used to drive robots, record movement data, and generate and analyze data.
