The ATSENSE201A-AUR is a general-purpose Data Acquisition (DAQ) device for sensing, acquisition, analysis and logging of signals from various analog sensor transducers connected to the analog input terminals of the device. It is particularly suited for use in industrial process control, real-time monitoring and data logging applications.The device comprises an Analog Front End (AFE) which is a multi-channel, high-speed, low-power analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that converts sensor signals into digital data suitable for processing and can filter, amplify and attenuate the signals before they are converted to digital form.The AFE is coupled with an ARM Cortex-M3 processor and a variety of accompanying peripherals, including a serial port, USB and Ethernet ports, as well as a range of input/output ports. It can also be connected to a variety of external memory and data storage devices, such as SD cards, USB flash drives and external hard drives.The data acquisition process begins with sensing of an analog signal, which may be continuous, discrete or a combination thereof. This sensor signal is subjected to an analog conditioning stage, where it is filtered, amplified, attenuated or any combination thereof. The conditioned signal is then fed to the AFE, which converts it to digital form, and the digitized signal is subsequently processed and stored in the device\'s memory.The ATSENSE201A-AUR offers multiple features, including on-board signal conditioning, adjustable sample rates, multiple analog inputs, programmable signal conditioning and acquisition triggers.
