AX102214 is a next generation, high performance semiconductor manufacturing technology that enables up to eight billion transistors to be integrated on a single semiconductor die with an operating frequency of approximately 1MHz. It is designed to bring the benefits of large scale integration (LSI) to application fields including mobile products, home appliances, camera products, and automotive systems.This technology is based on modified floating gate memory cells which offer low power consumption, improved signal to noise ratio, and superior performance in noise- and temperature- sensitive applications. The basic circuit structure involves a n-channel transistor, a few capacitors, and a floating gate transistor, which can be programmed to a desired level by applying a pre-determined amount of electrical charge. Since the technology utilizes advanced 3D integration technology, AX102214 can integrate up to 8 billion transistors on a single chip for increased performance and advanced features.The basic working principle of AX102214 is based on the principle of negative bias temperature instability (NBTI). NBTI is a phenomenon that occurs when a p-type transistor is subjected to periodic or continuous inversion for a long period of time. The result is an increase in the threshold voltage of the transistor as measured at a low temperature. In order to counteract this effect, AX102214 utilizes a self-managing negative bias voltage feature, which reduces the effects of NBTI by continuously applying a negative bias voltage to the circuit. This helps to maintain the threshold voltage as a steady value over time, thus providing improved reliability and extended operating life.In addition to its increased performance, AX102214 also features several other advantages.
