AXE7E2426 application field and working principle

Rectangular connectors − arrays, edge type, mezzanine (board to board) like the AXE7E2426 are cleverly designed board to board connectors. The AXE7E2426 connector is designed to facilitate interconnection between two boards, in a variety of application fields such as medical, automotive, telecommunications, consumer appliances or industrial electronic applications. This product line is capable of connecting two boards with facing electrical contacts, which can support heavy current as much as 2-3Amps and operate at temperatures from -20°C up to +85°C.

The AXE7E2426 is a mezzanine or board-to-board type of connector, and features a total of 88 contacts in a span of 14mm x 15mm; with a total height of 7.30mm after being mated, both connectors have 8.05 mm of engagement with 12 pins on each side. The mating pin number is 12 and 12. It supports surface mount technology installation and has a connector intensity on both sides of 8 by 11. It also has a power rating of 0.5 Amps/contact maximum.

The AXE7E2426 has advanced locking mechanisms on both sides of the connector to ensure that the connection is secure and reliable. Its latching system prevents it from becoming unplugged or detached from its ports, and it relies on high quality contact force for a secure connection.
