AXG850044 Application Field and Working Principle
AXG850044 arrays, edge type, mezzanine (board to board) connectors are a new generation of electronic interconnect solution designed for slim line applications. It offers unmatched design flexibility along with an extraordinarily high performance profile for today\'s demanding applications.
The AXG850044 combination of array and mezzanine (board to board) technology can be used in many applications, including data, computer, communication and home entertainment systems. It provides superior signal integrity, high transmission speeds and low signal losses, all in a slim form factor. Since the connector features an array structure of multiple signal and power lines, AXG850044 offers a large number of contacts available to meet the requirements different types of applications.
The axes of the AXG850044 rectangular connectors are aligned along two parallel, offset planes. The internal route of the connector array includes multiple layers of soldered board, one of which is composed of a contact area for the individual contacts. The contact pair is made up of copper contact lugs, which are crimped or soldered onto the lead frame of the connector and are connected to the mating side of the connector by means of a flexible contact material. The contact area for the individual contacts is soldered to the insulator plate and designed for a press fit connection.
The contact pins in the AXG850044 rectangular connectors are designed with a pitch of 0.4mm and a length of 1.2mm. The contact pins are made of gold plated copper, which ensures a high degree of electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. The contact pins in the connector are designed to be low-profile and low-friction, which allows for a smooth mating cycle and superior signal integrity.
