Working Principle

AXT1E2266 rectangular array interconnect mezzanine connectors are designed with advanced contact technology in a one-piece housing. The contacts are held securely against printed circuit boards (PCBs) with independent contact force, and the contacts are preloaded and aligned for a consistent connection. The connector ensures reliable contact performance due to its unique spring steel contact. The contacts are pre-installed in the housing, and designed for low contact resistance.

The AXT1E2266 connectors also feature (MSL) methods to guard against electromagnetic interference (EMI). Multiple shielding around each contact is incorporated, along with a robust construction which helps in filtering noise. This reduces the chances of radio frequency interference (RFI), and provides secure signal transmission. The contact retention strength is enhanced by the spring-like action of the contact thus ensuring a robust connection.
