It features low DCR and good common mode noise suppression performance with the maximum EMI suppression values at several frequencies. Its maximum current rating is 1.2A and peak current rating is 5.80A.

The working principle of BK20104S431-T is based on magnetic conduction. Ferrite beads are the most common form of electromagnetic interference suppressors and they contain core materials made of ferrite, a material made of Iron, Nickel, and Zinc Oxide that displays high electrical resistance. The device is designed to be used with higher frequencies, blocking EMI signals through magnetic conduction. These beads act as a damper and decrease the amount of interference in the signal by interfering the high frequency electrical signals that cause interference. The beads absorb and reflect the signal energy so that it does not reach any other connected components.

It can meet multiple different types of environmental requirements with its low temperature coefficient, ozone resistance, flame retardant performance, moisture resistance, oil resistance, and low dissipation factor.
