As soon as the arc current drops below 20A, the operating current is interrupted and the fuse is removed from the circuit.
The BKL2-S505-V-5-R has incredible stability and control over its operating time. It uses a thermal-magnetic action, which increases when the current flows through it, producing two different levels of millisecond’s time delay. The first level is produced the moment the current reaches a predetermined value, then the second level starts and the time non-operation current increases proportionally. This action, combined with the arc disruption mode (which happens within the unit), guarantees a lower number of false trip and an increase in product life.
