BM14B series (0.8 mm pitch) rectangular connectors are used in an array, edge type, mezzanine (board to board) applications. These connectors have a unique feature that allows them to provide multiple connections in a limited space. This provides a great advantage in applications that require tight packaging constraints or require multiple connections in parallel. The BM14B connectors are available in many different configurations and sizes, ranging from 0.4 V (53), 1.8 V (77), 3.3 V(87), 5 V (97) and 10 V (107).The connectors are made of MCPP (metal-coated polyphenylene sulfide resin), a polyether etherketone (PEEK) plastic material with superior strength and dimensional stability. The connector has a 0.8 mm pitch that provides an optimum contact force and a maximum working temperature of 125°C. The pin count ranges from 1 to 30, depending on the configuration. The connector is double shielding for high-speed transmission and ultra-low power signal transmission stability.The connectors are designed with an array of pins which are arranged in four columns. The contacts in the columns are placed next to each other and the pin positions are marked on the top side of the connector.
