The BQ27425YZFR-G1 is a single-chip device that combines linear-switched-mode buck-boost power management with a dual-cell Li-ion and Li-polymer battery. It includes an Analog-to-Digital Converter (A/D), dual set of voltage and current regulators, four comparators, and precision current source/sink and a real-time clock/calendar. Additionally, it also features 8-bit I2C/SMBus serial SMBus/I2C interface, programmable cell voltage and impedance outputs.
