Evaluation and Demonstration Boards and KitsThe BQ500210EVM-689 is an evaluation and demonstration board and kit that provides comprehensive power management capabilities in a wide range of applications. It has been designed with a high level of flexibility to accommodate a variety of ever-evolving requirements in the aerospace and embedded systems industries. The BQ500210EVM-689 uses a combination of power conversion, switching and monitoring functions to enable high efficiency operation for a variety of applications.The evaluation board and kits are composed of three boards and two power connectors. The boards are the socket board, power board, and the evaluation board. The socket board contains the BQ500210, Power Board contains an SMT FET, four Schottky diodes, four 4mOSFETs, and two current sensors, and the evaluation board which contains a real-time clock, USB port, and temperature sensor. The two power connectors are plug-in type connectors for supplying power to the system.The BQ500210EVM-689 uses an LGA-14 socket board to house its integrated circuit. It is used to provide the interface between the user and the board. The LGA-14 socket board is an ideal option for low-level-to-mid-level testing. This enables the user to easily and quickly install the BQ500210 onto the board without having to negotiate with a complex wiring system. The socket board also provides excellent electrical isolation between the power source and the board components, allowing the user to be completely flexible during their tests.The BQ500210EVM-689 also utilizes an evaluation board, which contains the main components needed to monitor, measure, and record data. The board features a real-time clock, USB port, temperature sensor, and voltage and current measurement pins. The onboard real-time clock can be used to record the time of any data measurements and can also be used to trigger specific events. The USB port can be used to transfer collected data from the board to a computer. The temperature sensor can be used to measure the temperature of the environment and can also provide an alert if the ambient temperature exceeds a certain threshold. The voltage and current measurement pins allow for the direct measurement of voltage and current in order to monitor system efficiency.In addition to the evaluation board, the BQ500210EVM-689 also includes a power board which contains an SMT FET, two current sensors, and four 4mOSFETs. This board helps to power the system and enables the user to efficiently manage the system\'s power.
