In modern technology, these elements are made up of microcontrollers, Micro-processors, FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) modules, etc. The main purpose of these elements is to help the system to act according to a set of commands. One of the most commonly used embedded system application is the BS2E-IC.

BS2E-IC stands for Basic Stamp 2 Express IC. It is used to program small circuit boards with low voltage to connect analog, digital, or mechanical devices. The core of the BS2E-IC is the BASIC Stamp 2 Express Chip (BS2E). It is a low power, 8-bit microcontroller with 8K of Flash ROM. This chip is programmable through the PB/S2EE, which uses a “C” command set with an internally stored software ROM that can be used to store the initialized settings. The BS2E is connected to the development board with jumper cables, allowing the user to access external I/O pins and perform various mathematical calculations.

The working principle of the BS2E-IC application field is quite simple. Once the user has connected the chip to the development board and powered it on, the user can start programming the chip through the PB/S2EE editor.
