Microcontroller

Microprocessor

FPGA Modules

Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) are special types of chips that can be reprogrammed to quickly perform complex tasks in computer systems. They are usually found in embedded systems and are often used for tasks such as video streaming or image processing. FPGAs offer several advantages compared to microprocessors, such as the ability to quickly process data from multiple sources and the ability to easily reconfigure the chip for different tasks. This makes them ideal for embedded applications that require significant processing power and flexibility.

BS2PE application field and working principle

BS2PE, or Basic Stamp 2 Peripheral Expansion board, is an embedded development board with a wide range of applications. This board is based on the popular 0.5" x 1.5" Basic Stamp 2 microcontroller from Parallax, which is widely used for embedded projects due to its flexibility and availability. The BS2PE board expands the capabilities of the Basic Stamp 2 by providing a number of additional ports, including four analog inputs and eight digital I/O ports. It also provides additional power supplies and processor debugging capabilities, making it an ideal development platform for embedded applications.

The BS2PE board works by taking input from various external sources and sending it to the Basic Stamp 2 microcontroller.
