The snap-action mechanism of this micro limit switch is based on a spring-loaded plunger contact and a secondary switch contact set. The design of the plunger contact allows for quick actuation and precise positioning of the limit switch even when operating at different speeds. The secondary switch contact set ensures reliable on/off switching.When the actuator arm and shaft of the BZ-R31 series comes into contact with the plunger contact, it causes the plunger to compress and eventually close the switch. The pressure of the spring is released and the plunger returns to its original position, thus breaking the contact. This is known as the snap-action mechanism and is used for reliable on/off switching of the micro limit switch.The mechanical life of the BZ-R31 series is around 10 million cycles, while the electrical life is up to 500 thousand cycles. This long life makes this micro limit switch ideal for long-term, high-precision applications such as automotive, aviation and aerospace applications.The electrical specifications of the BZ-R31 micro limit switch include operating voltage of 200 VAC and 240 VAC and allowable operating current of 1A.
