C16R5-500.0H, a high-performance and high stability crystal oscillator, is one of the most widely used oscillators in the industry.The C16R5-500.0H oscillator provides exceptional frequency stability and is capable of operating over greater temperature ranges than traditional quartz resonator-based designs. The key feature of the C16R5-500.0H is its ability to operate at frequencies up to 500MHz and accurately maintain its frequency over temperature and the lifetime of the product. This oscillator is especially suitable for applications such as wireless base stations, telecommunications, video surveillance systems and other demanding applications which require high performance and stability.The C16R5-500.0H is based on a silicon MEMS oscillator design. The MEMS oscillator comprises a planar MEMS resonator and a CMOS IC. The MEMS resonator is a thin-film structure comprised of multiple layers and it is electrostatically driven, allowing the oscillator to generate a high frequency sine wave output. The CMOS IC provides the necessary electrical components to operate the MEMS resonator, and it could also incorporate additional functions such as a clock divider and a frequency synthesizer.When the oscillator is powered up, the MEMS resonator begins to vibrate and generate a sine wave signal at the desired frequency. The sine wave signal is then passed through the CMOS IC and amplified to obtain the required signal level.
