The C185EVK01/NOPB is a evaluation and demonstration board for the Texas Instruments C185 microcontroller. It is designed to provide an easy to use platform for evaluating the C185 microcontroller and its peripherals in a wide variety of application fields.The board is equipped with the Motorola DSP family processor, the C185 microcontroller and supporting I/O devices. The board also includes a PowerPC processor and Ethernet ports to provide a complete development and debugging environment. The board is connected to the device by means of JTAG (Joint Test Action Group) which is a commonly used interface used to test and debug embedded systems.The board includes an external SMBus port for accessing the I/O devices, and two USB ports for connecting peripherals. Additionally, there are several connectors for analog signals, such as thermistors, general I/O ports and digital I/O ports.
