A C440P is an anode gate, four quadrant, bidirectional, silicon controlled rectifier (SCR). This type of device is mainly used in the dual-channel DC current and voltage control applications. A C440P consists of three-terminal PNPN structure, the gate, anode, and cathode. A PNPN structure is a type of semiconductor that can amplify an input signal.
