The CA21108020 is a non-contact temperature sensor created for applications in harsh industrial conditions. It consists of a probe, a microcontroller, and a temperature processing unit. The device is used to measure temperature and other environmental conditions like humidity, pressure, and vibration. The application field of the CA21108020 could include but not be limited to industries such as electronics, aerospace, automation, food processing, industrial process control and in the automotive industry, to name a few. Additionally, it is also used to monitor the temperature of medical devices and laboratory instruments.The working principle of the CA21108020 is based on an analog to digital converter which is used to convert the analog signals into a digital signal. The device is operated in a three-phase temperature range, with a maximum temperature of 180 °C. The analog signals are processed through a microcontroller and the digital output is sent to the temperature processing unit.The temperature processing unit contains two thermopiles which are connected to the first-order type temperature sensor arrangement. The thermopiles convert the temperature change into a voltage difference. This voltage difference is then converted into a digital signal and sent to the microcontroller. The microcontroller processes the electrical signals and calculates the temperature value. It then sends the temperature value to the temperature processing unit. The final temperature value is sent to the computer for display.The device is designed to be able to operate in a wide temperature range and is also able to withstand severe temperature changes. The device is also able to protect itself from damage due to overvoltage and overcurrent. Additionally, the device has an embedded temperature calibration algorithm which ensures that the temperature readings are accurate and reliable.The CA21108020 is an ideal temperature sensor for applications in a wide range of industries.
