CA21109003 is a kind of hydrodynamic torque converter which has the benefits of providing power transition from one shaft to another, whereas the speeds of the two shafts are different. The application primarily of such converters is automatic transmissions in vehicles as well as boats. The principle upon which it works is similar to a centrifugal fan: as the impeller moves faster it increases the fluid pressure leading to increased torque on the output shaft, thus providing the purpose of transferring power. The CA21109003 converter contains five main components: an impeller, a turbine, a stator, a drive clutch, and a reaction clutch. Each one of these components plays an important role for the working of the converter. The impeller is a circular wheel attached to the input shaft which has fins attached for the purpose of providing increased pressure for the fluid when rotating. This increases the torque. The turbine is also a circular wheel which is attached to the output shaft. This wheel is structured with slightly angled fins which result in increased fluid flow when the wheel is rotating. The stator is stationary and is located between the impeller and the turbine. Its purpose is to ensure better pressure. The turbine and the impeller are connected by the drive clutch while two reaction clutches are located at the other end.The CA21109003 works on the principle of hydrodynamic fluid coupling. When the impeller rotates, the fins attached to it cause the fluid to be forced against the blades of the turbine which, in turn, leads to the rotation of the turbine. This rotation of the turbine leads to a change in the flow of the fluid and the pressure which occurs between the two, due to this difference in the flow and the pressure cause torque to be transferred from one shaft to the other. This entire process is what is known as fluid torque conversion.The other components like the drive clutch and the reaction clutches, are essential in making the system work in an efficient manner. The drive clutch, when engaged, forces the impeller and the turbine together in order to provide the torque. The reaction clutches permit the turbine to free spin when the coupler is disengaged. Also, the existence of the stator prevents any backflow of the fluid from the turbine to the impeller. CA21109003 is ideal for vehicles and boats that require precise power transfer and need to work at different speeds. This is because the hydrodynamic torque converter has features which improve power efficiency and delivery between two mechanical parts. It also helps to reduce transmission shutdowns and the formation of hard mechanical constrictions on the shafts.
