The CA21113015 is an anode-backed MOSFET driver that provides breaking performance and protection against current overloading. It is designed to drive high-current, low-lateral N-channel MOSFETs in Power Supply, Motor Control, and Industrial Automation applications. The driver comes in either a pinand-socket DIP or a surface mount SOIC package, and is capable of operating up to 15 volts with a peak current rating of 16 Amps.This driver is designed to replace two or more discrete N-channel MOSFETs, eliminating the need for additional components and providing a more efficient, space-saving solution for high-power applications. The device provides full protection against overcurrent, as well as short-circuit protection and controllable overcurrent protection. The device can also be used as a high power control interface, allowing for fast switching and control of high current loads.The main application field of the CA21113015 is for driving high-power N-Channel MOSFETs in power supplies, motor control, and other industrial automation applications. The device is optimized for PWM applications and can be used to switch loads with high power efficiency. The driver also provides protection against overcurrent and short-circuits, and can be used in applications where it is important to control the current flow through the device.The CA21113015 driver works by providing an anode voltage across its input and output terminals, creating a bridge between them.
