The CAV93C76YE-GT3 is an ultra-low-power 8-bit to 64-Kbit FFT-based nonvolatile memory. It is used in various applications related to consumer electronics, automotive, detection systems, wearable healthcare devices, and other IoT applications. The CAV93C76YE-GT3 is developed with advanced FFT technology that enables ultra-low-power, high-speed and accurate computing of wavelet transforms. Furthermore, the CAV93C76YE-GT3 also provides a hardware Polyphase Filter Bank (PFB) for audio signal analysis and synthesis, and a waveform-level adjustment for filter bank coefficients.

The CAV93C76YE-GT3 memory is composed of two main components: the FFT Unit and the Polyphase Filter Bank (PFB). The FFT Unit consists of 128-bit registers, 8-bit by 64-Kbit memory, 32-bit address counters, eight-bit wide selection registers, EEPROM and SRAM, and an arithmetic logic unit (ALU). The FFT Unit has dual modes: FFT processing mode, and stand-alone SRAM/EEPROM mode. These modes are enabled by the addition of a Mode Control Register.

The Polyphase Filter Bank (PFB) can be used for audio processing and waveform manipulation. It consists of a Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filter and a Digital Signal Processor (DSP). The FIR filter performs the calculations necessary to apply the polyphase filter. The Digital Signal Processor (DSP) then divides the data into multiple frequency bands and performs various operations according to the frequency band, such as distortion, noise reduction, and gain control. The result of the calculations are stored in a memory bank, which is used for further manipulation.
