The CC2450E3VR is a solid state relay intended for switching resistive loads. It is suitable for lighting, heating, control, and other switching applications.

The CC2450E3VR is designed around a Triac output form, sealed in a compact thermoplastic housing (H), with a separate snubberless driver module (R). It is capable of switching up to 600 VAC at 10 A (Model dependent). The input can be configured for AC or DC power supplies. High electromagnetic interference protection is provided by built-in varistor, line-filter, and integrated suppression circuitry. An adjustable zero-crossing function is provided to reduce surge current and decrease power consumption in the load.

The CC2450E3VR has a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C. It has an internal over-temperature protection and can be operated up to +105°C. It is capable of carrying both inductive and resistive loads, and it offers high EMI reinforcement, excellent insulation performance, and good heat dissipation.

To operate the CC2450E3VR, the user supplies an AC or DC input voltage according to the configuration of the input. The input voltage will open the Triac, allowing current to flow. When the current reaches a predetermined level, the output of the Triac is shut off, causing the load current to cease. The zero-crossing function can be adjusted to reduce the surge current and inactive power consumption.
