Working Principle

CD2425E1UH solid state relays are based on the principle of semiconductor technology. When the control signal is applied, the source of voltage flows through the control terminal and then to the input of the solid state relay.This current is connected to the input of the opto-coupler, which is composed of a light-emitting diode (LED) and a photo-transistor, and the current is thereby converted to light energy. This light energy will act as an input to the SCR, which acts as a switch. This switch will then be toggled on/off and thereby controlling the ON and OFF of the output current.
