CDS200 series are a kind of high-performance automatic reclosers. It has been widely used in medium and low voltage lines such as distribution substation and power station. CDS200 is suitable for AC power line of 50 / 60 Hz motor, electrical equipment, motor control and power distribution in urban and rural areas, and it can be used for protection of overload, short circuit, power failure, electric pole break and other fault current breaking.

The structure of CDS200 is divided into front, middle and back, and the front and middle are the operating part. The back part is the spring structure equipped with impact turntable. In front and middle of CDS200, it is composed of vibrating plate, contact disc, insulation protection plate, spring type tension, throw over, connect brake, suspension connector.

CDS200 works by internal spring, when the current greater than setting value, the spring reaction to directly drive the protection disc drive circuit breaker break point to break the circuit. When the fault current fades, after impact device action, the CDS200 recloser automatically resets and returns electricity.

CDS200 also has a high degree of protection against short-circuit. Its earth fault detecting device has been improved. It can effectively detect the fault of the line and the earth connection, and then act fast to cut off the circuit. The device has dual detecting action detection and galvanic cable action detection, it can detect fault current on the earth side in 2 ways and ensure reliability of protection.
