Working Principle

The operating principle of the CE3392-15.360 is based on the quartz crystal oscillator. Quartz crystals are cut into thin wafers and combined with a quartz tuning fork to produce a quartz oscillator. The quartz tuning fork vibrates due to use of the piezo-electric effect.The quartz wafer is placed on top of a metal base and is subjected to a pressure from a metal spring. When an AC electric field is applied to the quartz wafer, a mechanical torqu is created and the quartz crystal starts vibrating. The frequency of the vibration is determined by the shape and size of the quartz crystal wafer.The frequency variation of the quartz oscillator is extremely stable and accurate. Oscillator stability is determined by factors such as structural integrity of the quartz wafer, environmental temperature and humidity, and voltage variations. The frequency accuracy depends on how well the oscillator is calibrated.The CE3392-15.360 oscillator is designed to be highly stable and reliable. It is constructed using high-precision components and rigorous testing procedures are applied to ensure maximum accuracy and consistent performance.
