Working Principle
CMA3090-0000-000Q0U0A40H is composed of multiple LED dies (also called LED chips) put together, then bonded, and placed on top of an MCPCB(Metal Core Printed Circuit Board). The MCPCB is then attached to a “package”, as well as all the necessary electronics to enable the device to be driven.This design utilizes technologies such as “flip chip” and “chip on board”, which enable multiple LED chips to be connected together, and driven as a single light. The primary benefit of a multi-chip array is that a single driver can drive an array, which means that it is eliminated the need for multiple LED drivers, as well as creating a point source of light.In addition, the reflector dome design of the light engine optimizes light distribution.
