An oscillator is an electronic circuit that produces a continuous output waveform. Working Principle of CMX309FLC6.000MT Oscillators

The oscillator consists of a transistor, a resistor and a feedback coil. When the transistor is on, the current flows through the resistor and the feedback coil. The output voltage of the transistor is therefore proportional to the current, and this forms the input signal of the feedback circuit. The feedback circuit then amplifies the signal and sends it to the input of the transistor. As the feedback current increases, the transistor amplifies the signal even further, causing the output to oscillate at the frequency determined by the components of the feedback circuit. The frequency of the output waveform can be adjusted by varying the feedback current through the coil.
