CNC1S101S is a two-pole opto-isolator that offers industrial-grade performance and reliability with a transistor and photovoltaic output. It is also known as an opto-coupler and is often used in sensitive operating systems. The single-channel CNC1S101S contains a gallium arsenide infrared LED, photoresistor, solid state relay, and silicon NPN transistor. The optoisolator offers three different output types -- LED (light emitting diode), photovoltaic, and transistor.The CNC1S101S is designed to provide isolation between input and output circuits and can be used for high-current, low-voltage, low-current, or high-voltage applications. The transistor output of the CNC1S101S is designed to provide a low impedance path between the input and output circuits. The photovoltaic output provides a polarized voltage output and can be used for many applications such as outputting an AC signal or outputting a DC signal.The CNC1S101S optoisolator is designed for high isolation levels while providing reliable and efficient operation, guaranteed over the entire temperature range. It features a high optical coupling coefficient between the LED and the photodetector, a wide operating range of up to 5 kilovolts, and low on-state voltage drop. The CNC1S101S is designed to be resistant to EMI and RFI, and operates without any external components.The CNC1S101S operates in two stages: LED stage and photoelectric stage. The LED stage is triggered when the LED is excited and emits an infrared light beam, which is detected by the photodetector display. The photoelectric stage occurs when the light beam is detected by the photodetector and converted into electrical current.
