The CPE-502 is a powerful and effective alarm device used for a variety of applications. The alarm activates when it detects an intruder in the vicinity or detects vibrations from an impact. When the motion is detected, the PIR will activate the alarm. The alarm device consists of two components: the detection element and the control unit. A targeting prism is used to direct the detection element precisely. It also allows the user to adjust the sensitivity of the detection element according to their needs. The control unit consists of a digital signal processor (DSP) that processes the PIR signals. In addition, the CPE-502 also includes an auxiliary input that transmits a loud alarm when activated. This auxiliary input can be connected to a number of external devices such as a remote sensor or an alarm dialer. Furthermore, it actually includes two alarm levels that can be enabled or disabled. The first level is the “pre-alarm” or “warning alarm” that is emitted when a weaker motion is detected. This allows the user to leave the premises to investigate. The second level is the “full alarm” or “intruder alarm” which is triggered when stronger motion is detected. This is the level that will scare away an intruder.The CPE-502 is also equipped with a wide range of additional features. It includes a delay button which allows the user to delay the sounding of the alarm when exiting the premises, a tamper switch which activates the alarm when attempts to remove or alter the device are detected, a power indicator LED that shows the status of the power supply, and a low-battery indicator LED that indicates when the battery is low.Overall, the CPE-502 is an effective and reliable alarm system that is designed to provide maximum protection.
