Data acquisition is an important and essential discipline in many fields of engineering and technology. The CS5361-DZZ is a single-ended, low-voltage differential-signal (LVDS) low-power, high-density analog-to-digital converter (ADC).

This innovative architecture helps to achieve the rating of a maximum resolution of 14 bits, with a SNR of 61 dB and a sampling rate of 927 kSPS. The device also features an adjustable gain up to 16x, allowing for a wider dynamic input range.
The CS5361-DZZ also features a low-power shutdown mode and low-power sleep mode. In sleep mode, the device will shut down power but maintain its internal registers, allowing for wake-up signals and lower power consumption in standby mode. These digital signals are then grouped into blocks of eight bits and are clocked out by the ADC at the same rate of the input signal. The second step involves decoding the digital signals and converting them into a multiplexed output. Finally, the analog output is generated from the digital output.
